Wider Reading
Reading around the subject is essential for all students on the A-Level course. As a geographer your job is to investigate the world around you, make connections between issues and identify causes, impacts and solutions within our dynamic and rapidly changing world.
To be able to do this effectively you need to be reading good quality news articles daily; The Economist, The Times, The Guardian, The Financial Times and The Week are all good starting points.
We also highly recommend subscribing to Geographical magazine, a monthly magazine from the Royal Geographical Society covering a range of content including geography, culture, wildlife and exploration. It is ideal for A-Level Geographers.
